Upon arrival, rescuers assessed the crew's condition and prepared the injured individuals for evacuation. They were then transferred to a third vessel, the Joke Dijkstra, which transported them to Den Helder, where ambulances were on standby to provide further medical attention.

Following the evacuation, the Glomar Venture was escorted to Den Helder by Irene & Henk, Koen Oberman, and the Coast Guard vessel Guardian. Despite the collision, the vessel was reportedly able to make its way to port under its power.

The cause of the accident is currently under investigation, and no information has been released regarding the extent of the damage to either the vessel or the wind turbine involved. KNRM has not disclosed the name or location of the wind farm where the incident took place.
